Once there was a young girl, who loved to draw. Every Saturday one could see her hiking up the bluff or down some trail. With her blue folding chair on her back which also held her art supplies.
Sometimes one or two friends would join her on these drawing adventures.

Where every thatch or birch tree were potential candidates of interest. She loved the barks of trees, the leaves of trees
and the flowers well they were her favorite

Not only were fowers pretty and smelt nice they attracted wonderful insects and things, like butterflies

Living on an island surrounded by the Caribbean sea the young lady was fascinated by water. The change of colors almost like mood swings.
The look when rain a fall on it
and the look of sparkling diamonds when the sun hit it just right.

The best part about the sea was on those hot summer months when she could gather with friends in it to cool off.
They loved to jump off the ironshore rocks and sometimes even do back flips.

However she was more interested in what was under the water.
The different kind of fish, the sea fans, sea eggs (urchins to the tourist). It gave her great joy for even the sand and rocks proved interesting when the sun filtered through to shine on them. That is not to say that she did not like to catch and eat fish also but she can appreciate the beauty that God surrounds her with.

My Grandmother broke her hip and I had to go to Grand Cayman with her. This quick sketch was at the hospital in Grand (or as they say in facebook land “kman”). Aunt Lean was sitting next to her and everyone was looking really grim.
There I was in the sofa waiting to get something downloaded from the net when my Dad comes in to lay down due he is not feeling so well. They still have not moved over to their house as yet (6 months after Hurricane Paloma). Hurricane season almost back on us again, infact we having tropical weather from a system that might become the first tropical storm of the season. If so its name will be Ana, dont sound like a bad sorta storm hopefully it will not be but thank God for the needed rain from it, true it sucks for the elections.
Thankful since then couple weeks later my Grandmother hip has healed on its own and she is now back at home. My Dad is feeling better and is off to a PPM rally tonight, the night before Election Day 20May09.

Few months later these butterflies and the white ones covered the island.
